Job Context

• To be a mentor with a creative design sense, so as to take on a leadership role, enhancing the architectural and interior design deliverables of the BTI design department and its interior design wing, SFS.
• To increase excellence in work processes by changing them and bringing a marked difference in aesthetics in all designing matters.

Job Responsibilities

• Being a motivating leader responsible for improving and changing work systems in the design department to increase excellence in design and work processes.
• Overseeing architectural, landscaping, interior design, structural, plumbing, and electrical teams.
• Developing excellence in interior designs and work systems for SFS, our interior design SBU.
• Strategizing and introducing better and up-to-date work technology across all architectural and interior design deliverables.
• Improving presentation methods and state-of-the-art marketing material.
• Enabling on-schedule, flawless delivery of designs by introducing faster and better design delivery systems.
• Delivering creative interior designs and immaculate aesthetics of common spaces throughout buildings and for interior design customers of SFS.
• Leading the teams to create and deliver landmark projects, including the importance of landscaping, building lighting, and sensible designing.
• Interacting with L/O and other customers to increase sales and improve customer relations.
• Resolving design conflicts through inter-departmental meetings as a representative of the architects.
• Organizing training and workshops related to architectural design development for enhancing construction work at projects.
• Overseeing the design implementation at construction sites by visiting the sites and arranging for skill improvement of all design teams.
• Analyzing and improving cost controls and self-sustainability of the design department.
• Arranging contractual work for the design department to increase sales in local and international markets.

Additional Requirements

• Age 40 to 55 years
• An entrepreneurial spirit and motivational leadership qualities.
• Passionate about overseeing building designs that are functionally excellent and aesthetically pleasing.
• May have a special interest in interior architecture design and be particular about excellence in aesthetics.
• Knowledgeable about the latest digital technology in design and interested in bringing a change to the present designing methods and in introducing innovative construction materials and methods.
• Comfortable and reliant on using digital platforms and proficient in the latest design development portals.
• Happy to work in compliance with the core values of the company culture.
• People's person with salesmanship quality, positive personality, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English and Bengali.
